Soon, you can choose to not use EGS on Linux just as you choose to not use it on Windows. π
I'd rather buy a game for full price than get it free on epic. Tbh my disdain is a bit irrational. I use steam, why not epic? I've just always held it in some contempt as long as I can remember knowing about Epic.
This is ... almost ... making me think I should reconsider my stance. If I can't recall the reasons, is it justified?
OTOH...meh, I'm not ambitious about looking up old Epic flaws.
Tim Sweeny is justification enough to not use anything associated with his company.
Unfortunately, way too many games are built on Unreal to ignore everything. π
