If I write some software and put it on my GitHub then you come along and install it, that does not mean we now have a contract the binds us.
Cool, nobody said you did.
Similarly, there’s no binding contract that says when you remove features from your software’s community edition in order to drive more profits without any added value, that I’m disallowed from criticizing you for it.
The users will have to deal with the loss of features, and you will just have to deal with the criticism.
What do you think the license is, exactly?
That’s just saying what you can do with the code. It doesn’t mean I owe you anything.
What did you think it meant?
It depends on what the license says, who owes who.
