In his best election to date, he got 300 votes. 9K+ is amazing.

More importantly, he got his £500 back:

The Clacton result was the first time that Count Binface has retained the £500 deposit candidates are required to make to validate their nomination.

It is repaid if a candidate polls more than 5% of the total number of valid votes cast in the constituency.
