A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

Where will “demanding our right to healthcare” get us? We can demand stuff all day long, at best we’ll get ignored. At worst, we’ll lose our jobs (and thus any health care) or our homes or our lives.
The majority of Americans hate this government and the oligarchs who run it. Even if we organized and protested en masse, the billionaires and the deluded cultists who buy their lies will just deride and/or destroy any uprising. We’ve been successfully divided & conquered.
I’m too old to start over. I have a house & a family to think about. I can’t risk losing my job. my healthcare is tied to it. I can’t go starting a revolution. I’m sorry to admit that I’m beat.
I disagree. But if you need to rest, rest. As long as you know they are horrible people, that is enough for me.

So I agree that this is a problem. It undermines the legitimacy of pretty much every sitting government in history. And it's something that needs solving. Very important.
But when the choice is between someone who shows no motivation whatsoever to support universal healthcare, and someone who shows no motivation whatsoever to support universal healthcare, I kind of struggle to see the connection between low turnout and low healthcare coverage.
Again, low turnout is a bad problem, and if we had higher turnout, no one could ever say "not my president" about Trump/Biden/Obama/Bush, which is something to aim for. Legitimizing the sitting government is very important, and as such greater turnout is important.
