The dude committed suicide two days after the cops raided him. So at most, it would be his estate suing people for libel/slander. But you usually need to prove damages (like losing your job, or being forced to move) to win a slander lawsuit, and it’s hard to claim that a dead guy was monetarily damaged by someone saying things about him.
Well a newspapers lawyer will be very upset if you give anyone any legal opening to sue
