Giving the Kim dynasty anything is a mistake. They will take the idea and spin it as if they successfully negotiated peace even though the world was against them. They will portray it as if they have the superior military might. In the end, through NK people still suffer.
It seems that their economy has been booming lately, with Russia buying their stockpiles and China dumping some of their excess prodution on them. I have no idea if that growth actually translates to a better life for their people but I really doubt they'd be better off with a shrinking economy.
If it's anything like the US, China or Russia, all the money trickles up
As a Korean I would say making peace with the north would be much better than dealing with the Trumpian regime.
Could be looking to cash out if they can get garenteed immunity as part of the deal.
Nope, the Kim family survives on power. They will trade anything and everything to remain at the top
