That one is dope, for some reason I like the aesthetic of any of the sports models. Unrelated but check out the WM-DD series. They are highly sought after for their "disc drive" mechanisms. The main motor is coupled with the capstan flywheel and they stand the test of time extremely well.

So, I have a bunch of lovely cassette tapes that I used to enjoy, listening to my little... uh, let's see... Aiwa HS-TA473W "portable-reversible" player. Now, as I understand it, the major breakdown component of such is getting the... whadya call that... the timing belt right?
So I've tried to ad-hoc it here and there with rubber & plastic replacements, but so far, it REALLY doesn't seem like something you can BS your way through, you know? Anyone reading have a clue about practical solutions upon such..?

Oh, its good I was the one with the unpopular opinion there and in real life that interaction would have lasted seconds and not really been all that hostile. Message me if you need the link or anything cassette related. I am a tape head, and my own cassette players are also broken at the moment.

This here is like my 5th post, and I still feel completely out of my depth, but at the same time, it's a great project IMO, so I feel like it's still worth posting, even if I make a complete fool out of myself at times? XD
