Created as an evolution of White People Twitter and other tweet-capture subreddits.

No, to be a swastika (Hakenkreuz) it needs to be surrounded by a circle. This is a manja, you see them all the time in Buddhism and the culture that the Nazis stole it from is over 6k years old.
That being said. Fuck Nazis. Fuck Fascists. And if you need to err on the side of caution, feel free to be suspicious every time you see a manja.

No, the Nazis also used them without circles. And modern neonazis and edgy teenagers also are total fuckwits who don't really use the CI stylebook of the NSDAP for correct swastika usage. So you can only check this out of context: Some hidden symbol in a washing machine from Asia? Chances are good that this used as an asiatic lucky charm. Those graffiti in your local underpass in a western town? Chances are that they were not drawn by a rouge gang of buddists trying to with you luck.
Nazis used them flat rather than rotated too
I stand corrected. The NSDAP party had flat swastikas however they were always surrounded by a circle. The official symbolism of the Nazi government of Germany however used an angled Hakenkreuz. Regional parties however did use the flat swastika. Always though, they were surrounded by a circle. Otherwise they were manja symbols. ::: spoiler Unless you're referring to the Broken Sun Cross. No they didn't. They used manja symbols. But no the "Swastika" which was referred to as the Hakenkreuz was only ever on an angle.

Nope, both were displayed - the angled version was more common, but both forms of Hakenkreuz were used by the NSDAP.

There are some Nazi symbols that omit the circle on the page you linked. In heraldry, and the 1939 iron cross. But I think it's a very strong rule of thumb
