The way Lemmy delete post works is really annoying (lemmy.world)

If I delete my post, I want it deleted, WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?

So why, when I delete a post, I see "undelete"? Who was the genius who thought of this idea as being a good one?

Wait until you realize that federation means it might not get deleted everywhere even if it wasn't stored temporarily in case you didn't mean to delete it.
