I have a fear, hopefully unfounded, that cuts to these programs, along with ignoring or getting rid of data is an attempt by this administration to get rid of any information that might contradict their narratives while also allowing big business more free reign. And then there's the immensely ominous statement they've put out in these situations where they essentially say these changes are to support 'changing administrative priorities'.

Yes. The good old 'if we stop testing covid will go away approach'.

It feels like this is the oligarchs last scramble to snatch what they can before collapse hits a stride.
