Canadiens for the team, Canadians for the people. An important distinction because Canadians make up 41% of the NHL while Canadiens only account for around 4.2% of the NHL.

No idea, lol. Despite my nationality I never got hockey-pilled. Much to the detriment of my social life ๐Ÿ˜ž.

No judgement here, and a complete aside to this post topic, but I find team sport fanaticism fascinating. I live close to two cities with competing professional sports teams, and people can get HEATED over it. I will never understand that. Like, most of those highly paid individuals aren't from the city their teams are based in. Heck, some aren't from the same country.

I guess it's similar to brand fanaticism? People have weird arguments about Apple vs Windows, Apple vs Android, PlayStation vs Xbox, etc. Like, ya got no stake in that fight dog. The success rate of these multimillion dollar entities does not reflect upon the personal qualities of any particular fan.

Don't read into my mad ramblings. I don't think being a fan, even a hardcore one, is bad. I just personally don't get it lol. I'm probably the one missing out in all this.
