Itโs owned by Quebecor Inc, a fully Canadian conglomerate traded on the TSX.
So if you arenโt sure about the trustworthiness of an independent paper, thereโs at least one fully Canadian media conglomerate besides CBC.
Well the Thomson Family is Canadian. They're billionaires (so maybe not all that trustworthy) but they're Canadian. So that would Globe & Mail and Thomson-Reuters (though that would be international, not Canadian).
