Blocked but not Censured instances from SJW (lemmy.ca)

I am digging into what instances are/aren't blocked across lemmy servers while looking into an issue on lemmy.ca and learned about https://gui.fediseer.com/ . For more context see https://lemmy.ca/post/69461640

I can see that SJW reliably censures instances that they block except for the following exceptions.

chapo.chat
cum.salon
feddit.rocks
hexbear.net
lemmy.byrdcrouse.com
sfw.community

Bringing this to your attention as a low priority request to review whether to censure the instance or possibly unblock it, whichever makes most sense.

FWIW I'll put in a comment the shell script commands I used to identify the mismatches between SJW's blocked and censured instances.

In this case Censure refers to a Fediseer term which is defined in their glossary as:

A censure is a completely subjective negative judgement from one instance to another. Effectively signifying that instance A "disapproves" of instance B. The reason for this can be anything.

An instance can censure any number of instances and be censured by any number of instances.

You can see the list of blocked instances from SJW at

https://sh.itjust.works/instances

For example we see on that list that instance mastodon-ero.xyz is currently blocked by SWJ and when we look on fediseer for Censure details about that instance at:

https://gui.fediseer.com/instances/detail/mastodon-ero.xyz

we see SJW Censures this instance for the reasons:

  • script spam instance - open registrations

Interesting, i was only vaguely aware of fediseer. I understand your post. Seems like you'd typically censure everyone you block, and block most of those you censure.
