Yeah but most people are on Lemmy so its' lack of integration is what shapes the local culture.
@catfeeder mastodon has a much larger community, so people that find their way through contribute here. It's a one-way street though. You can't contribute to mastodon from you threadiverse account (mbin/kbin community so small that it's not worth the mention).
I can contribute posts to Mastodon by adding hashtags to my posts, and I can already follow users from there to see their posts (ahhh toots?) even if they aren't bound to any community. So, at least on Piefed, the situation is improving bit by bit.
