I bought the first Queen album on vinyl. Then 8-track. Then cassette. Then compact disc. I finally pirated the digital version. I owned every piece of media that the album came on with the exception of the pirated copy (which I could have digitized from my compact disc). In not one case has a company ever came into my home and said "You have to give that back, but no refund though". This makes no sense.
