1/3 of the country thinks he's the best thing to ever happen to America. They eat this stuff up.
1/3 of the country thinks he's somewhere between a national embarrassment and an existential threat to our constitutional democracy.
1/3 of the country is apathetic about politics and cannot be bothered to give a shit over way or the other.
That last third are just as bad as the third who support him
I'd say, they are not equally bad in a moral way. But they are definitely a bigger danger to the world, because the first group might hold a bad apple accountable. Not saying that is happening here, but the apathic self-centered group doesn't have the means to do that, while the Trump supporters at least have some sort of connections with the people in power.
And most all of the country can't afford to do anything since most are a couple paychecks from homelessness and depend on their employer for healthcare.
One should wonder, if the majority of a country is living paycheck to paycheck, is that country a developed country?
