Dutch people cycle an average of 2.6 kilometres each per day. If this pattern was replicated worldwide, the study suggests, annual global carbon emissions would drop by 686 million tonnes.

This mammoth figure exceeds the entire carbon footprint of most countries, including the UK, Canada, Saudi Arabia and Australia.

Ebike are expensive. I know people how bought small used cars for the price of an ebike.

I once bought a used bike for 12 € another time for 5 €. Yes, it was a long time ago and we got inflation since bit ever since bikes become trendy, they got overly complicated and overly pricy. That doesn't help people cure their carbrain syndrome.
