THE Lemmy community for visual arts. Paintings, sculptures, photography, architecture are all welcome amongst others.

MODERATORS
Drawing can be really easy and really hard. You can just stick to stick figures - but if you really want to learn you have to start with the basics: Shapes, forms and shading - these parts are the boring parts usually in school they make you draw cubes, spheres and later drapes for months.
A quick search came up with this video, and just skipping through it seems like a good basic lesson that shows the first professional learning steps
