2. Canadian Content

3. Editorialized Headlines & Titles

Posting submissions must include the original title. This is necessary for consistency and clarity. Do not editorialize or make unnecessary edits to the headline or title. Extra commentary belongs in the comments section.

5. Duplicate/Similar Submissions

Duplicate/similar articles will be removed.

Exceptions: An article about a topic may be posted even if a tweet has already been posted; if the article is a different media; if the first article was paywalled; and, if the article is an opinion piece or adds some more detail to the subject.
6. Memes & Jokes

In order to not clutter the front page with memes and low effort jokes, please only post this type of content on the weekend (Friday-Sunday). Memes, jokes, and off-topic discussions are welcome, but we will remove posts if the amount on the front page becomes excessive. Low-effort memes or those done in poor taste are not welcome.

Exceptions to the rule include in depth satire or comedy written or video pieces. Professional political cartoons may also be posted during the week.
7. No Shitposting

I'm not sure if that's meant to allude to something. And I see someone's down voting, is there something I'm not privy to, or is this just typical Canadian pissyness at having the colonialism pointed out?
Yep they I'm sick of that shit being mentioned. I'm jot a colonizer my family wasn't who the fuck cares. It happened it has happened forever and continues to happen cause humans are shit animals.
Let's get past it and try to improve stuff instead of blaming everything on the past.

Not sure about the downvotes or prissiness. I was simply agreeing with you.
Nothing wrong with pointing out the colonialist past and present history of Canada. I think Canada being on a path of truth and reconciliation (albeit flawed and lacking but better than nothing) is probably the biggest turning point to post-colonialism and it's a massive paradigm shift from pro-colonialism mindsets and it's relevant branches (race supremacy, imperialism, etc).
Personally, I think Canada should do more to own T&R because it's literally a homegrown philosophy that can have a positive ripple effect globally.
But that's just my 2cents and opinion.
I really don't think I'd call largely performative measures "massive," especially since the current admin is actively eroding land sovereignty rights and openly admits its intent to expand resource extraction operations as an act of Canadian "sovereignty."
Yeah though, saying they care about it really got the libs feeling comfortable about their benefiting from the genocide.
Don't worry, just assholes and a platform that defends them by making them invisible. You can sometimes use lemvotes.org to get around it and see if it's a pattern of behavior you should care about, but it works sparsely. Gotta make the majority of users insecure for the small minority of users who might even abuse it (which they still can if they are dedicated enough).
