In case you missed it, there's a farmer's market running all summer (May-Oct) at the Small Arms Inspection Building at Dixie & Lakeshore. That's next to Mary Curtis Park and the border with Etobicoke.
Lots of produce, eggs, honey, meat, you name it.

Hm... Looks like every farmer's market I've ever seen.
A few stalls with actual produce (overpriced), lots of stalls with random arts and crafts (cross your finger that most of them aren't MLM schemes), and precious few actual customers.
I like the concept of a farmer's market, but the reality often comes up very short.
The whole point of farmers markets was to sell local direct to customers without middlemen. It ended up gouging people into buying overpriced produce likely bought from a grocery store and repackaged. Mennonites and Amish have been pulling that scam for years.
