It would wildly fuck with enterprise systems because you would have to have a way to verify age for the users of EVERY system. The way it is now you would have to verify the age of users of iot and smart devices. You have to have id to turn on your lights or use the refrigerator.

Plenty of systems like that use windows too though. I mean I totally welcome more reasons to use Linux but at the same time my job could become more interesting if we had to switch to Linux.

I would love it. Until everyone else quits. Perhaps I could demand higher pay?

AFAIK no IoT device uses Windows, cuz it sucks.
