Omarchy Mocks Typical Linux Users With Dedicated Webpage

It shows a picture of a AI generated image of a king and queen referencing them as Omarchy users. Then it shows a floating icon of a jester representing Linux users that pops up some of the following quotes:
- The peasants whiper the whole distro castle vibe-coded
- It's a bunch of dotfiles
- Ricing is not engineering, my liege
- Congratulations, you have discovered i3
- Two JPEG's, a gradient, and delusions of monarchy
- Zero days since the last zero day, sire
- Coronation was on Tueday, the build was red
- Wait until they hear about NixOS
- It's not a distro, . It's a theme folder with a domain name
- It's the worst distro in the market, they cry. Its not even a distro
I believe this whole thing was done in response of some "monarchy" and "oligarchy" comments on Omarchy around the fediverse. It is also sometimes weird to get the "joke" because the speaker changes.
Lol this shits like what i found cool when i was 12. We roleplayed as monarchs on a minecraft factions server.
Edit: also whats with the nixos thing? What connection does nixos have to making fun of omarchy other than the fact that everyone should make fun of it?
Yeah, this is super bizarre.
I'm not sure, I suppose it is one of two things:
People make fun of Omarchy saying "Wait till they hear about NixOS" meaning that "How do these idiots have not yet realized that NixOS is perfect for what they are trying to do."
In response to "It's just a bunch of dotfiles" Omarchy claims that NixOS is a bunch of dotfiles too. (This one does not make too much sense)
It could easily be the second one actually, arguments dont have to make sense when youre throwing arround insults like a 12yo. Also it might be that nixos has a huge queer userbase but thats also true for arch.
