The summer I spend homeless after mooching off my roommate and (now former, due to this) best friend until they couldn't support me any more. I didn't know how to adult, basically, how to earn enough money to pay my bills and keep my bills low enough to match my income.
I got back up with some hard work, a lot of help (other friends who found me work, places to live, helped me move and store my most precious possessions while I was homeless), and a huge amount of luck.
A huge bounce back, if you ask me. I hope you are proud of your accomplishments.
Proud? No. But I am grateful.
thats how cruel life is, but you are lucky enough to have friends to support you.
Sounds like your parents missed teaching about how to go about your life. It sucks learning that stuff later by yourself, but I'm glad you had people who believed in you and that you could put in the work to make it!
