I did, and while I agree that being ordered to pay money for that is bullshit and they should have just gotten a divorce and be done with it, that's not the point.
He was punished for recording in his own home.
If your neighbours break into your house to have wild sex, they shouldn't be surprised if they got recorded - but that doesn't make it legal to record it.
Just like when the neighbours break into your house you're not allowed to kill them.
Someone breaking one law does not allow you to break another. That can seem unfair and become conflicting, but is a basic truth across the globe.

She forgot there was a camera in her house when she invited her affair partner over. He didn’t post it online, he used it in court. And again (since you like repeating) he was punished.

Are you a bot? Your comments don’t really make a lot of sense and you seem to be deploying them at random. Or is a person turning on their home security camera like, your main beef with this world?
I don't think recording someone having sex without consent is justified regardless of how that individual has emotionally harmed you.
I thought this was a settled view - that abuse isn't justified. You can't hit someone because they hurt your feelings, you can't rape someone because they refused a date, you can't record someone without consent because they cheated on you. Those are separate actions.
If he had controlled himself and only recorded them kissing or otherwise showing the cheating without the sex, he wouldn't have been punished by the courts at all. Only she would have been punished.
