Gnome on surface pro 4.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Also, good work finding the one place I think gnome fits
Ultramarine Linux. It has a surface OS variant and its built on fedora. Its pretty good.
Thanks for sharing .
You gotta show off the onscreen keyboard and a *fetch to make the show complete
Edit: and post to one of the unixporn Comms. !unixporn@lemmy.ml

Super cool goal they're achieving, installing this on my OG Surface Laptop. Thanks for making me aware of this.
You can also use most any distro you want using Linux-surface kernel
Ok you've inspired me to get off my butt and set this up on my old S Laptop. Looks like it is in the supported list.
Woooooo! YEAR OF THE LINUX TABLET!
