Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.

I feel you should take more issue with "workmen rip out 'lovely' alley" - as if working class people just up and decided to rip plants out when it was a bureaucrat somewhere signing off on this getting tore down - who is now not even willing to come out and admit sighning it...
