Good luck convincing a lemming of that, they are all fucking brainwashed to hate AI as a whole.
AI "brainwashed" me into hating it, by increasing the amount of work I needed to do to fix the AI user's code.
What sort of free for all repo are you maintaining that is just openly accepting slop contributions? Control who is allowed to make submissions based on their adherance to best practices and the problem disappears.
It's not Open Source.
The other guy is being paid to push that slop. And he's paying out of that, for AI cloud services.
Then hire more competent devs or work somewhere else I guess? Why are your company hiring such lazy devs?
