Why is this?
Don't tell me it's not true. The blue one shows up at family water parks all over the world, the pink one does not.
Not too long ago there was a viral video of a woman at a water park wearing a g-string, like the pink one, and the pearl-clutching was off the charts. In the same video women wearing bottoms like the blue one appeared.
Unfortunately it is quite common for people to tell women what they should or shouldn't wear.
This is just part of it.
The only thing should matter if the person wants to wear it or not - and nothing else.
What they wear is nothing to do how other people behave, but that's what it boils down. It is still common to say "they were asking for it, look how they were dressed".
As long this stays in people's thinking, nothing going to change.
