Wooo! I can finally give it a go, even though I have heard it is shite compared to the first one.
I very rarely buy games and almost never at full price but on the strength of the first game I would have probably bought this upon release if they hadn't put denuvo into it. Now they will never get any money from me!
Played ~5 hours and I'm really enjoying it. They have added fast travel (not sure if it was with this or some previous update) which was one thing that kept me from even thinking about getting it before, along with denuvo. It runs great too, buttery smooth on max everything for me. It's not an astounding game, but definitely a fun time (so far).
DD2 has always had fast travel. It's a pretty central mechanic in the lore
Fast travel was in the first game from day 1 it's a core mechanic of the game ever...
