I have a Sony Bravia TV. The next TV won't be Sony. I have Windows 10. The next operating system won't be Microsoft. See what you're doing Sony and Microsoft?
Why the hell do you still have windows at this point? The TV is hardware, I get that. But windows? Just change it.
Believe it or not there are things you simply cannot run on Linux.
If your serious about a switch people are willing to help! A lot of stuff can run with wine and there might even be better open source alternatives!
