Before reading the article I'm gonna say laissez faire capitalism.

So it's a bit more complex than the article title suggests.

Cascading Effects of Bullying:

  • Reduced School Attendance
    • Staying at home leads to increased consumption/kitchen visits
      • Junk Food

Additional Info:

  • Why Do So Many Trans People Drink Energy Drinks?
    • Energy drinks are far more accessible (and harmful) to children than healthy foods and necessary prescription medication.
      • Ex: if a child is unable to get a needed medicine, (such as a weight-loss drug as mentioned in the article), then it can bar them from having a healthy lifestyle which could increase the likelihood of turning to more self-detrimental options (like chugging energy drinks and scarfing down junk food).
