This is my take as well. Harris could probably have been saved with some authenticity. I watched her die a little inside when she felt she had to smile and say she couldn't think of a thing she'dve done differently from Biden.
Times change. I just wish the dem bench was deeper so that it could adapt better
Not to mention the internal self sabotage of telling Walz to stop with the "They're weird" comments about Republicans. It was a hit, it was popular with people, he had some real momentum there and they killed it and replaced it with nothing.
I couldn't believe it when they made him stop. Mocking fascists works
Harris was an absolute non-factor. The election was entirely Trump vs Biden. There is nothing she could have done to make up for Biden being an even bigger war criminal than Trump.
Give it time! Biden had decades to commit his war crimes, but Trump is doing his best. I'm sure thinking of ways to outdo Biden is what helps him get up in the afternoon, and war crimes is probably the easiest category for him to do it in.
What most people don't understand about the 2024 election is that Harris was the only one who could have legally taken over the ticket without resetting the funding to 0 dollars. Harris was also hamstrung by the Biden team who insisted that she not deviate from Biden's policies in any way.
Women have it tough in politics, AOC makes it seem easy, but it's not easy by any stretch.
No Biden motherfucker KNEW he had terminal cancer and still ran for president.
If he would step aside held a primary I believe whoever won that would had a better chance of winning.
Of course nothing would help fact that we know that Elon rig the machines in key states.
Regardless I voted for Harris because I am not crazy! But I understood how a lot of people didn't like not getting a choice and saying fuck it. Which sucks because I remember Trump term and could not Phantom why they would risk that happening for second time. But I sympathize with all those fools!
Not to mention he said he would only be a one term president, so people were expecting to have a primary. Going back on that, then dropping out, then refusing to let Harris run the campaign her way. Just nonstop shooting themselves in the foot.
I remember that as well and thought it was okay compromise over rat fucking Sanders again in the primary. So was really pissed when went ahead and ran again for second term.
