I mostly avoid games from big publishers because how scummy they are most of the time and of course with how they handle developers, best latest example is Star Wars Zero Company and how EA and Disney is treating the devs at Bit Reactor.

Most games i buy are also games that i can download and have offline because of modding, example Bethesda and their stupid updates that break 95% of mods on release.

Last 2 games i bought were Palworld because fuck Nintendo and it turned out to be a good game and No Man's Sky because Hello Games has really turned the game around since release and are still releasing free content and i did have fun playing it and that was 2 years ago, played a lot of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. G.A.M.M.A. since then and it's so good, new one is kinda meh, graphics may be a bit better and that's the only thing going for it and even that can be improved in the old one if you want to try and get additional mods.
