MODERATORS
Unpopular opinion: while I was hyped for more Stargate, after reading that, I'm glad it got canceled.
I have no desire to go to parallel realities, we saw enough in the shows, and with the massive wave of movies and TV shows all thinking they're so clever and original for doing alternate timelines in the last decade, I'm pretty burnt out on it.
Basically, SG-1 was what pulled me in and if it's not more of that, I'm not super interested. Erasing all of it and saying it more or less doesn't matter anymore just means to me the show doesn't matter anymore.
MCU pretty much ruined AU sci-fics. everyone is so done with those types of films.
