I am on one ui right now, I dont know if they collect any telemetry. Will it help to pick a minimal one from fdroid?

Also for battery life, would one ui perform better because better optimisiation or debloated foss launcher?

Personally, I use mu launcher It's minimalistic and uses gestures instead of icons
