…it seems to be made of flimsy plastic, a thin aluminum casing, and the glass carafe feels like it’ll break if I so much as sneeze on it. They couldn’t even bother to print cup measurements on the carafe. I mean, it’s pretty, I guess. Also, I had to return the first one I got, it was DOA right out of the box. Disappointing, because it was a lovely bright red. Returned and got this boring off-white instead.

I've had mine for years and it has always worked perfectly. The reason I originally bought it was because you could actually buy the parts to replace anything that failed. I do recommend the thermos caraffe over the glass one.

I think I will upgrade the carafe. I do like the idea of replaceable parts.
