I'm not saying that you are, and sorry if I somehow implied it.
That said, Hitler committed suicide soon after turning 56, and Trump is 24 years older than that; or conversely, Trump turned 56 in 2002, just before Bush decided to invade Iraq.
Even then, I don't think Hitler was more competent.
Hitler opened up 2 fronts. That was stupid.
Hitler declared war on the US, which gave FDR the reason/excuse to pommel Nazi Germany.
Mussolini, another idiot, did the same.
Meanwhile.
IIUC, wp:Francisco Franco declared war on no country and lived to be 82.
