Overview:
Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

Mine isn't quite that fast as it is a 3 row SUV. Nobody expects it to be as fast as it is though. It's pretty fun to surprise people.
Cheap fillups are the best part. I have solar panels on my house as well so I get paid to drive mine lol
People do have a point about vehicle telemetry and complexity but that's not unique to EVs or even vehicles in general. I do my best to avoid that kind of thing but it's difficult when our whole economy revolves around stealing people's data. You do the best you can in an imperfect world.
Pretty much all the torque is there on demand at whatever speed you happen to be doing, that's the biggest difference I think.
There's no changing down a gear or two to spool up the engine to get the acceleration. You want to go a little faster, you just press the pedal.
