Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. Yeah, you Canucks have been getting screwed by the Yanks on this subject long before Trump took the mask off. I'm sorry you live next to a bully. Hopefully Carney will improve things.
However that doesn't mean you can extrapolate North American experience to Europe, they're utterly different markets that have had the phase out of ICE written into law for years and have been actively pursuing it.
I'm sorry but your personal experience isn't relevant to a ~~Canadian~~ Polish example

There's a ton of stock on very low cost older EVs here, I'd have an easy time finding something used that would work for me. I probably should have looking at some of these listings...
