As you accumulate hours, you don't make less mistakes, your mistakes just become bigger and more complicated.

Finally got around to firing up Space Age after buying it at launch. Went to my first planet and it felt like going back to square one again. Highly recommended.

They really did a great job of giving each planet unique mechanics so that you aren't just stamping down the same builds over and over.

My theory is that putting items on a belt and getting different items off at the other end just breaks people's brains.

You need to do Gleba twice, once fumbling your way through and once going in with some idea what you're doing. My first Gleba base was awful. The second time I decided I liked Gleba after all.

Ha! I wish! It was Fulgora (the easy one!) Can't wait to have my brain melted by Gleba next...

Done 2 space age runs, first on death world - pentapods were crazy to deal with. Both slow progress from learning it and also death world sped up their evolution. In the end I had a chunk wide wall blueprint and beat them with brute force and mass production. Frequently had 100s of buildings destroyed. It didn't matter, I was building hundreds of turrets too.

The intro to all quiet on the western front sums up the feeling of that run. The losses were heavy, but fresh replacements always came.

My second run was a speedrun attempt to get the achievement, made loads of saves as I went and managed to get it with quite a lot of time to spare. Used sandbox a lot to make blueprints.
