First time I ever heard anything about DHH (the main person that is now behind Omarchy) was when he announced he will stop using Typescript for one of his big projects, because the strict typing system makes it less fun than Javascript.
That argument is on the same level as "seatbelts in cars are bad because they restrict my movement", i.e. completely inane bullshit no sane person could take seriously.
Somehow this evidently incompetent person stumbled into enough success to now be able to spout hateful political messages without serious repercussions.
Usually when people start spouting hateful messages I lose respect for them, but there was nothing to lose in this case.
I don't know enough about Javascript to speak about the actual argument itself, but unless at some point it became a life or death situation and people started dying because they didn't use Typescript, then I'm going to say the argument likely is not on the same level.
Either way, fuck this dude
