Page 23 here has an application from a person whose age, name, and place of living kinda matches, so maybe it was him
If that was him then maybe this record is about him, too. I don't know if Ancient Faces is crowd sourced or gets information from archives, but it reports death on July 18, 2001

NVM, the UPI website has a shitty AI for their search and it sucks. Using DDG I was able to find the photo on their site.
