This entire practice and trials on animals is big pharma controlling cures by bureaucracy and red tape and "inhumane" testing. Big pharma lines the pockets of the guys who write FDA rules. FDA rules state you can't practice on humans thus curing humans because that would collapse pharmaceuticals, cancer treatments. Thanks a lot think-tanks. The FDA has plenty of issues but saying 'no, you can't test things on humans without first testing them on non-human animals,' isn't for the sake of the companies. There are a lot of 'potential cures' for which we never want human trials, because rodent trials reveal how much cancer they cause rather than cure.
