And those adults were taught that same thing by their parent generation. No one just decides to randomly become bigoted, almost everyone who is becomes bigoted because of propaganda and indoctrination, so at what point does someone have to take responsibility for their own bigotry, and when can you just blame it on the people who indoctrinated them ?
I'll leave you an exercise to think about your question while carefully looking at the photo.
