With the US adult (over 18) population at about 269-270 million, $5000 each would be about $1.3 Trillion imaginary dollars.
The dollars would be real, the value would not.
Trump is ruling like a particular type of typical dictator--protectionists tarriffs and printing money. Expect Argentina-style inflation in a few years. Don't denominate your savings in dollars, guys.
What’s savings?
It's an old-fashioned word, like 'groceries'.
They’ll find a way to only pay republican voters. Possibly while looking to expel anyone who isn’t at the same time.
US Population yesterday was just under 349M
21.07% of the population is under 18
Leaving just over 270.5M eligible adults in the US.
Even shaving off a generous 500,000 people as illegal, that makes it $1.35T this would cost.
