the corona checks caused a run on consoles
I'll never forget when they announced the corona checks and the same day best buy or something had tv on sale for the exact amount
my rent went up every fucking time. i never saw a cent of any of them. and i'm still paying the higher rent today on the same paycheck as then.
Just like when W issued the stimulus checks back in the 2000’s, everyone went out and bought new tv’s lol
