There's a lot of famous artists today, but I'd love to discover new pop music that is oriented around a band instead of an individual. Bands like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Pink Floyd have all topped the pop charts. Glenn Miller's Orchestra topped the pop charts in 1940 with a fully instrumental song In the Mood.
I can think of Sammy Rae and Friends, but no others. What are your favorite modern pop bands? Especially ones with a focus on instrumentals. Edit: thanks for the recs!

I guess it speaks to the fluid definition of genres, but I'm surprised folks are saying there aren't really any around. I feel like there have been some hugely popular ones in the last 10 years or so.

Probably a lot more that I don't know. Not that I "know" most of these past name/singles.
