It seems like my stance should be surprising to you. You were making some awfully broad generalizations as to why one might support another people's right to self defence.
Oh, is that so? Look up my post history and this community's response to my support of colonized peoples; you guys don't hide it well. Wonder why you mentioned the specific instances you did and not others.
I'm not a representative of the /c/Canada community. Just a single commentator. The reason you are levelling your accusations against an invented collective character is because you are looking to be combative but my position is principled so you can't argue with it directly.
Every one of you wants me to take you seriously before you act serious. You said I generalized, I have proof that I didn't. This isn't debate club, you aren't a rhetorician, grow up.
