Some of the extra nuance is that she routinely would dip her toes in the 'far right' hate cess pool. Disney, being Disney, asked her to dial it back. After enough incidents they cut bait. She was a bit character on a show that had some heat and refused to just not cry about courting Nazis.
Like you gotta know that Star Wars on Disney is going to be focused on kids. And if you're running around pushing conspiracy theories about Jews, you can't be too shocked when they shut it down.
She was about to get her own spin-off show too. What a fuck up.

Disney studios was kind of notorious for putting children through the ringer to make shows.
eh, Walt was rather antisemitic.
That's why he'd be spinning lol. I do think people forget that he wasn't "out there" because of that. It was quite a popular prejudice of the day. It's still a bit too widespread for my taste.
But Disney studios has a certain reputation for taking kids and turning them into products.
