As title says, I started running again after 1 year break and gained weight therefore I'm little bit anxious about overdoing it without being aware of it because risk of injuries.

If anybody has similar experience, I would love to hear it!!!

There's an app called Just Run.

Perfect for getting back into it, and it's free. Do it at a pace you can handle but challenge yourself a little each time to build stamina. Consistency is your best friend.

Youtube for warm up and cool down exercises. Stretch!

Yeah. Couch to 5K is the way to go and apps like Just Run help. Listen to your body and don't over do it. I just ran my first 5K today after working back from a long hiatus because of surgery. I've gained a lot of weight and hoping improving my diet and getting back to running will help trim me up. Good luck!
